Merry Christmas!

The girls had a great Christmas, here are some photo's of them opening their gifts!

Hannah and I went to the Catholic school's Christmas play on Thursday. My friends daughter was in the play, and she invited us to come. Hannah wore her Christmas dress, she wanted look pretty at Church! (giggle) The kids did a really nice job, I was really impressed. Hannah had a wonderful time. It was so fun for me to watch her watching the play. Here are some pictures of Hannah in her dress... Alivia has the same dress, they are matching this year!! (yeah girls!) 

Hannah's Treat for School

Hannah and I made a Christmas Tree cake for her to take to school today! It turned out really nice... Hannah did very well, she helped a lot. She was turning heads all the way down the hall as she carried it to her classroom. She was beaming with pride (so was I!) lol

First two classes done!!

Well, I finished my first two college classes last week. I have to say, I think I did pretty well! I got a 980/1000 in one class and 1000/1000 in the other class. Yup, for the first time in my life I am getting "A's" in school! hee hee 

My second block of first semester started last week too. These classes are a little bit harder, and require a lot more thinking. So we'll see how I do with these classes!! 

Soup's ON!

Alivia LOVES her soup... too bad she loves to wear as much as she eats!! What a goofball. Thought you might find these funny! I was laughing SOOO hard when she was eating!

Hannah and her cousin Adia went to the American Girl grand opening in Minneapolis this weekend. Aunti Audra took them. Hannah said she had a great time! Aunti even got her TWO new bitty baby twins. She loves them! A wonderful day for some wonderful girls!!

Halloween Costume?

We were having a hard time deciding what costume Alivia would wear. We decided, for purpose of keeping warm, to go with the bumble bee!!

Hannah, after having 3 different costumes, has chosen to be a witch! Going to be a fun Halloween this year! First trick or treat together!!

A day off of school!!

Hannah and Adia had the day off of school, and John and Alivia wanted to get out of the house! So Audra and I took them all to the pumpkin patch...we had a great day!! Hannah loves to see her cousin's, and she is super excited to play with auntie's new baby, when "it" is born. It was a beautiful day, until some one woke up the bee's and beatles! Here's some pics!

Progress Report

Well, I am starting my third week of college now! Yeah for me! I was getting a PERFECT score in both my classes until yesterday. I missed one little attachment and lost 3 points!! (so mad!) So I was pretty upset. Then I started laughing! When I was in high school I was excited if I GOT 3 points; what a difference!! I wonder what high school would have been like if I had put this much effort into my work! I might have turned out to be almost as smart as Audra! What a thought!
So yeah, I figure 3 points out of a total of about 200 isn't too big of a deal, but I don't plan to miss those points again. It really does a lot for your self esteem when you do well in school. Boy oh boy if I known that in high school things would have been different too! I guess mom and dad were right about ONE thing. With age comes knowledge. I am a little behind, but I am getting there!
I think I am starting my college career on a pretty good foot though. This is the first time I have ever gotten straight A's! Even though I missed those 3 points I still have an A in my class. I wonder if daddy will give me a dollar for each "A" like he did when we were little. Heck with inflation that must be about 20 bucks now!! HEE HEE

I rock at college!!!

Well, I have completed my first week of college. I am currently taking 2 classes. I am getting a 100% in one class, and I am pretty sure I am doing well in my other class. I have not received my grade in that class yet. I am really excited!! I would suggest The University of Phoenix online to anyone that wanted to go back to school but couldn't attend an on campus school. You get one on one time with your instructors, and you get a whole team of people to help you succeed. They are your Graduation Team!! The leader of that team is your student advisor. I lucked out and got the best one they have!! ( In my opinion) He calls me to make sure that I am doing well, he responds to my emails quickly and has shown me that he has a genuine interest in my success. I can't say enough about how impressed I am with this school.
Well I better go so I can finish my home work!! hee hee

sister's !!!!!

Sisters are one of God's greatest gifts. I don't know how I could have lived this long without mine!!! I can only hope that my girls aren't as mean to each other as my sister and I were when we were young....never thought she would turn out to be my best friend!!!

Amber's first day of College!!

Well, after being out of high school for almost a decade now, I have decided to go back to school to get my bachelors degree....I am working towards becoming a social worker. I pretty proud of myself. I knew I always wanted to go back to school so that I could have a career and not just a job, but with two kids who has time. So after careful consideration (and long talks with Audra and Scott) I decided to go with the Univ. of Phoenix online. It will best fit me for what I want to do and how much time and money I want to spend. It is a lot more in deepth than I thought it would be. I guess I always thought online schools were kinda cheesy, but they are really pretty cool. So yeah for me, going back to school at the age of 26 with the knowledge of a 10 year old...hee hee hee

some things are just too cute!

I think some pictures are just too cute not to share. These are a few pictures that Audra took of us at the menomonie water park....mama's fat little baby!! Some times I wonder how we made such an adorable baby!!!!

Alivia is a total cracker lover. She doesn't care what you serve them in.....but some times its just more fun to "go fishing!" hee hee hee

No job too big!

So I was sitting at my kitchen table today looking down the hallway thinking "gosh I really don't like the walls down there..." So I grabbed my paint brush and my gallon of paint and began painting. I then realized that the brush was far too small and the hall was far to big. I had to call in some help. Scotts mom and dad came to my rescue. Who knew it could be so hard to keep a 13 month old baby away from a tray of white paint and 10 feet of wet wall??? But we got it done and now I am much happier.
Next is the main bathroom.....oh what trouble can I get into with that?? hee hee hee Home Depo here we come! HEE HEE.

Hannah started Kindergarden

Hannah is getting so big....I can't believe she started school already. I really miss having her around....but she is having so much fun, and learning so much! She loves to go to the library and check out new books...she always tells her teacher that she will be very cafeful and not let Alivia color in them or rip the pages....and she follows through with her word!!

Just a quick note

I am always shocked at how fast my kids are growing up, but when Hannah started school it really made me think....Alivia will start school in 3 years!!! That used to seem like such a long time, but now it seems like a blink of an eye and we'll be there.
I miss having Hannah around to play with during the day and having some one to talk to. Alivia really doesn't have alot to say these days ha ha ha.......Now my sister and I talk to each other for about 2 hours every morning.....it's crazy but its the only way to make at least half of my day go alittle faster.
I just wish I had more time to spend with Hannah and I have learned to cherish the time I have with Alivia...pretty soon I'll be home all alone.....Scott will make me get a full time job!!!!!!!!!! BOOOHOOOO!!!! hee hee hee
